Clerk-Treasurer

The duties of the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer are defined in Indiana Code 36-5-6. This Office is responsible for budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, investment management, payroll, employee benefits management, employee on boarding, agendas for Town Council, Redevelopment Commission and the Storm Water Board, and the keeping of Town records, such as the Town Minutes and Ordinances from 1899-current.

 The Clerk-Treasurer’s office is comprised of 3 employees, the Clerk-Treasurer, a Deputy Clerk, and a Bursar Clerk. The Deputy is in charge of payroll and is the office manager. The Bursar Clerk is in charge of accounts receivable and payable. 

The Clerk-Treasurer’s office is located in the Municipal Complex at 1490 Broadway.
